Session #5
by Josh Hunt www.joshhunt.com
Review:
- How has this study impacted your life spiritually? How are you different today than you
were 6 weeks ago? What is different about your behavior, your thinking, your feelings or
your attitudes?(1)
Accountability
Has anyone employed the spiritual warfare strategy we discussed about praying to put on
your spiritual armor in the morning? Tell us about it.
Daniel 10
A Delayed Answer
* * * O P E N * * *
- What is the longest time you have ever gone between praying a prayer and seeing the
answer?
* * * D I G * * *
- There may be a number of reasons for delays to answered prayer. As we read this
section, look for the reason for a delay in the answer to prayer.
- How did Daniel respond to seeing this vision of this angel--was he excited, happy,
overjoyed, or what. See verse 7.
- What had Daniel done to start the answer to prayer in motion? See verse 12.
- Why have we said that understanding is so important in spiritual warfare?(2)
- What is the role of the mind is spiritual progress? See verse 12; also Romans 12:1-2.
- Why is humbling ourselves before God important?
- How long did it take for God to hear and send the angel?
- Tell me what you can about the opposition from verse 13.
- How was the opposition overcome?
- Do you think any of your prayers have ever been stopped this way?
- What might we do to get an answer through that has been blocked by demonic forces? See
also Mark 9:29.
1. Teaching is about life change, isn't it? I aspire to be a teacher
who is helping to shape people into the image of Christ. This is the last session on
spiritual warfare. Spend some time reviewing and holding the group accountable. If their
perspective is permanently different in even some small ways you have been a great success
in teaching.
2. Because Satan's chief job is to deceive.
