The Best of the Best

Imagine you had access to thousands of dollars of the best commentaries ever written--commentaries such as John MacArthur, Warren Wiersbe, Lenski, Holman Commentary, Tyndale, IVP, Keil-Delitzsch, Life Application Commentary, Barclay's Commentary, Baker, and dozens more.

You can.

Now, add to that some of the best Bible Dictionaries, Bible Encyclopedias, Handbooks, and other background books. Books like Vines, A.T. Robertson, and, of course, The Theological Dictionary of the New Testament, edited by Gerhard Kittel, Gerhard Friedrich, and Geoffrey W. Bromiley.

Now, lets suppose these were all in electronic format so they were indexed and instantly searchable. Suppose you are studying John 3.16 and you would like to know, at the click of a mouse, every occurrence of where John 3.16 is referenced in any book in the entire library. It would be great to have that, wouldn't it?

You can.

While we are dreaming, it would be great to have some Greek tools. What if you could click on any word in the Holman Christian Standard Bible and ten different dictionaries would synch to that word. Or, imagine you could right click on any word and one selection was, "show me every time this word--the Greek word behind this HCSB translation--was used in the entire Bible." You click it and, "Walla!" there it is.

Every teacher knows what really makes a lesson come alive is the illustrations. The greatest teacher ever--Jesus--constantly taught with stories. So, in an ideal world, we would have access to great stories and illustrations as well.
