Are you interested in having more than just a “youth group”?

Are you looking for an approach to youth ministry that facilitates numerical growth as well as growth in depth and ministry involvement?

You need a student ministry built on G.R.A.C.E

The acronym G.R.A.C.E. describes the five-fold approach in connecting with students.

G - get acquainted... environments designed to introduce students to our student family

R - respond to Christ...opportunities for students to clearly understand and respond to God’s promise of hope in Jesus Christ

A - apply truth solid Biblical teaching that enables students to make life decisions based on God’s perspective

C - connect with culture training students to confidently understand, engage, and influence culture with their faith

E - engage in ministry by discovering the gifts and abilities of the students, they are enabled to serve God in their relationships, their church, and their world   G.R.A.C.E. based student ministry strategy is designed to engage, encourage, equip and empower students toward devotion to Christ and involvement in ministry.   G.R.A.C.E. based student ministry is effectively adaptable to any church environment desiring to take their student ministry to the next level.   If you would be interested in learning more about G.R.A.C.E. based student ministry, or in scheduling a G.R.A.C.E. based student ministry seminar, please contact Kevin Glenn.

How to Create Spiritually Vibrant People

We all know that groups help people grow spiritually. Jesus grew his disciples in a group, and we must follow His example. To quote a line from Andy Stanley, "Disciples are made in a circle."

But, what EXACTLY happens in a small group that helps people to grow? Specifically. . .

  • I like application-oriented teaching, but can we demonstrate that application-oriented teaching actually helps people grow?

  • I like discussion-oriented small groups, but do discussion-oriented small groups actually produce spiritually vibrant people any better than lecture groups?

  • Does being loved by the teacher and members of the group actually produce spiritually vibrant people?

I am seeking to answer these questions and others with the new survey on spiritual vibrancy. I’d like to invite you to fill out the survey. All of the questions relate to what happens in a small group, so please only respond if you are currently in a Sunday School class or small group.

P.S.

I have two other surveys currently running, one for teacher/leaders of groups, the other for group participants. If you have not filled out these surveys, I’d invite you to do that as well.
