I.N.C.R.E.D.I.B.L.E. teachers move the hearts of their students. They never stop learning and growing. They are totally committed to the cause and they flat-out get results.
They get results in terms of discipleship. D.L. Moody said, “The scriptures were not given for our inspiration but for our transformation.” They create people who read their Bibles, pray, pursue holiness, and vote Republican. (Lighten up! Just having some fun!) They get results in terms of doubling a class every two years or less.
In order to do this, they must move powerfully into two areas: why and how. You want a two-word short course on effective teaching? Why and how.
Howard Hendricks says, “The number one problem in education today is the failure to motivate learners. . . to get them off the dime and into action.”
