Whether it’s on Twitter, through an e-mail, or when I’m speaking at a live event, about once a week someone asks me, “How did you get into writing books, speaking, and the other things you do?”

I could answer that question by talking about the many things that have fueled my efforts since day one, but it all goes back to this: I started.

You can research all you want. Think over something all you want. Strategize all you want. Even talk with experts all you want. But there never has been, nor will there ever be, any substitute for actually getting up and moving toward the calling God has on your life.
