A note on introductions:

People often print this page and read portions of it before they introduce me. Let me suggest what I think it is a better way. Whatever you can say about me personally is far better than, "Josh has a MDiv from SWBTS. . ." In other words, you might consider an introduction that goes something like the following:

Josh Hunt is loves Sunday School and small groups. He is a leading guru on the micro-church--the small group or Sunday School class. Josh's day job is writing lessons for small groups. He has arguably written more lessons than any human, living or dead. He writes 4 lessons a week that correspond with Lifeway's outline, plus the International Standard Series. His Lessons are called Good Questions Have Groups Talking.

Josh is passionate about helping groups double. He travels about 100,000 miles a year and has been in some of the leading churches in America, including:

Josh’s ministry experience includes serving as Minister of Education at Calvary Baptist Church, Las Cruces, New Mexico. During the eleven years he served this church, they went from one service and one Sunday School to four services and four Sunday Schools. Overall attendance nearly tripled. Josh does extensive speaking across the country encouraging groups to double. Josh writes Sunday School helps in a format he calls Good Question which he publishes on the Internet. These correspond with two of Lifeway’s curriculum outlines.

Josh is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminar in Fort Worth, Texas. He has a MDiv degree with a emphasis on New Testament Greek. He also holds a BA in Religion from Wayland University. Josh is a creative thinker and an energetic speaker whose passion is to see people come to know and enjoy God. He has spoken at some of the leading churches in America, including First Baptist, Atlanta, Georgia, and First Baptist, Orlando, Florida.
